Era internet membuat semua serba cepat, termasuk penyebaran berita. Hanya dengan sentuhan jari, berita terbaru bisa diakses hampir tiap detik. Di satu sisi, hal ini berdampak positif, tetapi di sisi lain, dampak negatifnya juga menyertai. Salah satunya tentang derasnya penyebaran berita dan tulisan palsu (hoax). Saya sendiri paling nggak suka ketika sedang asyik baca-baca berita online ketemu tulisan hoax. Ugh, rasanya kepingin nyiduk penulisnya langsung ke penjara deh!

Jadi, Indonesia saat ini meduduki rangking ketiga di dunia dalam penggunaan internet, penggunanya sudah lebih dari 143 juta lebih. Sementara yang selama ini diakses oleh pengguna internet Indonesia adalah konten-konten berbau lokal Indonesia seperti tentang masakan-masakan dan budaya lokal. Ini adalah peluang bagus untuk blogger agar lebih banyak lagi memroduksi konten lokal yang berkualitas melalu blognya. Blogger adalah pegiat literasi digital. Siapa tahu nanti konten-konten positif dari blogger Indonesia jadi rujukan dunia? Ini kan bisa membuat Indonesia semakin maju. Ya nggak?
