Akhir-akhir ini saya sedang keranjingan ‘mainan’ puff pastry siap pakai. Pasalnya, tiap kali bikin kudapan berbahan dasar puff pastry, anak-anak doyan, always ludes. Melihat hasil jerih payahnya di dapur diapresiasi dengan baik sama anak-anak, Emak mana yang nggak seneng coba? Tinggal beli puff pastry kemasan siap pakai, isinya bisa diganta-ganti.
Eh, kok puff pastry-nya beli jadi? Iyalah, ngapain repot bikin? Prosesnya panjang gitu, saya mana sempat? Nggak bisa juga kalau disuruh bikin. Belum lagi kerusuhan yang diprediksi akan terjadi kalau ketahuan Umar. Baru nuangin tepung sudah diacak-acak tuh. So, pilih yang praktis-praktis aja, yak!
Jadi suatu hari saya nemu resep Tarts Nanas Saus Santan di Tabloid Nova. Baca step by step resepnya, kok gampang banget? Ngecek bahan di kulkas, voila, lengkaaaap, stok tersedia! Asyiiik… saatnya eksperimen! ^^
Baru kali ini lho saya patuh pada resep, takarannya benar-benar sesuai dengan yang tertulis di tabloid. Biasanya sih, pakai rumus andalan, kira-kira, hihihi…
Bahan:
180 ml santan kental
2 btr telur
2 bh kuning telur
100 g gula pasir
60 ml air lemon
½ sdt esens vanilla
1/8 sdt garam
2 lbr puff pastry
1 bh nanas, kupas, potong kipas 1 cm
Olesan:
1 btr telur, kocok lepas
Cara Membuat:
- Dalam panci, campur rata santan kental, semua telur, gula pasir, air lemon, esens vanilla, dan garam.
- Masak di atas api kecil sambil terus diaduk hingga mengental. Angkat dan biarkan hingga hangat.
- Diamkan hingga uap panas hilang. Tutup dengan plastik wrap, diamkan hingga benar-benar dingin. Sisihkan.
- Potong puff pastry bentuk persegi. Sayat ½ cm dari tiap tepi puff pastry. susun di atas loyang.
- Olesi campuran santan bagian tengah puff pastry. Susun nanas di atasnya.
- Olesi pinggiran puff pastry dengan bahan olesan.
- Panggang dalam oven bersuhu 200 derajat Celsius selama 20 menit atau sampai matang. Angkat dan sajikan selagi hangat.
Tips:
Pastikan suhu panas oven sudah mencapai 200 derajat Celsius dan stabil sebelum memanggang adonan. Agar puff pastrymengembang dengan sempurna.
