Sebenarnya saya nggak suka baking. pertama karena ribet, waktu bikinnya lama (otomatis butuh tenaga ekstra), resiko gak kemakan (kalau gagal) besar, dan terakhir ogah cuci piring & beres-beresnya 🙈. Tapi kalau ada resep kue yang gampang, gak pakai lama, bahan nggak sulit didapat, no mixer, okelah saya coba. Seperti resep banana cake ala Farah Quinn ini. Bikinnya simpel. Cuma campur dan aduk-aduk, masukkan oven, ditinggal main sama anak, ting! jadi deh.
Bikin banana cake ini gara-gara Raya yang minta. Jadi waktu ada acara talkshow seorang penulis, saya ngajak anak-anak. Di acara itu dikasih sekotak kue yang salah satu isinya adalah banana cake yang rasanya enak banget. Eh sampai rumah Raya minta dibikinin. Cari-cari resep yang ala Farah Quinn, eksekusi, ternyata jadinya enak, 11 12 lah dengan yang kami makan di acara talkshow itu 😁. Aslinya kalau bikin banana cake kan pakai loyang. Nah, karena saya nggak punya loyang buat banana cake, jadinya saya pakai cup deh. Selain itu, kalau diwadahin cup jadinya lebih menarik buat anak-anak. Jadilah namanya banana (cup) cake 😁
Ini bahan dan cara membuatnya yang saya copas dari sini dengan sedikit penyesuaian.
Siapkan:
250 gram terigu gandum
200 gram gula pasir
2 sdt baking powder
1 sdt soda kue
1 sdt garam
2 butir telur, kocok lepas
115 ml minyak sayur atau butter leleh
250 gram pisang ambon matang, hancurkan dengan garpu
1 sdt vanila extract
115 ml susu cair full cream
1 sdt perasan jeruk lemon atau nipis
Untuk bahan, tingkat kepatuhan yang saya lakukan 80%, karena untuk tepung saya pakai tepung terigu biasa, susu cair saya ganti susu bubuk yang saya campur air biasa 😁. Trus lagi, resep aslinya ada krimnya. Tapi saya skip karena saya nggak suka. Dari saya, saya tambahin kismis dan almond slice.
Cara membuat:
1. Panaskan oven 180 celcius. Pakai api atas dan bawah ya.
2. Pada sebuah wadah masukkan terigu, baking powder, soda kue, garam, dan gula pasir lalu aduk hingga rata, sisihkan.
3. Dalam wadah lain, campur pisang, telur, mentega leleh atau minyak, susu cair, perasan lemon atau jeruk nipis dan vanila. Aduk rata lalu masukkan ke dalam adonan tepung. Untuk teknik mengaduk sekedarnya saja (asal semua bahan tercampur), tidak perlu sampai halus dan licin. Intinya aduk adonan basah ke adonan kering.
4. Kemudian tuang adonan ke dalam cup untuk cupcake, taburi kismis dan almond slice, lalu panggang dalam oven kurang lebih selama 30 menit.
Coba deh, beneran anti gagal. Saya sudah membuktikan 😊
