Satu lagi kuliner bebek hadir di tengah kota Samarinda. Setelah Bebek Pak Ndut, Bebek Sambel Korek Haji Slamet (yang sekarang sudah tutup), Bebek Pawon, sekarang ada Bebek Kalijo. Lokasinya di daerah Jl. Durian Voorfo, tepat di balik ATM BNI. Sebagai penggemar bebek, saya pun menyambut kehadiran resto ini dengan penuh suka cita ^^
Kalijo adalah singkatan dari Kalimantan Jowo. Awalnya, resto ini didirikan oleh Muhammad Yusuf di daerah Kandangan, Kalimantan Selatan, pada 2012 lalu. Sampai saat ini, restoran bebek ini memiliki 20 cabang (termasuk di Samarinda) yang tersebar di pulau Kalimantan.

Kalijo Samarinda baru saja dibuka sebulan lalu. Dengan kapasitas 35 meja, resto berkonsep ruang terbuka ini cocok untuk dijadikan tempat kumpul-kumpul keluarga besar. Tempat parkirnya juga lumayan luas, free pula, pas buat saya yang males ketemu sama tukang parkir 😀
Namanya resto bebek, hidangan utama resto ini tentu saja bebek goreng. Tapi bagi yang nggak suka bebek jangan khawatir, ada menu ayam goreng dan rusuk sapi penyet. Untuk minuman, ada kunyit asem, es jeruk, dan es teh. Bedanya menu bebek di Kalijo dengan resto sejenis yang sudah saya sebutkan di atas, pada daftar menu tidak ada pilihan menu sambel secara khusus. Tempo hari waktu saya mencoba mencicipi bebek goreng di tempat, sambel yang disajikan dua macam, yaitu sambel ijo dan sambel merah. . Tapi waktu beli take away, sambel yang jadi pendampingnya beda lagi, yaitu sambel korek dan sambel ijo. Inilah pertanyaan saya yang belum terjawab, antara makan di tempat dan bawa pulang, kenapa sambelnya beda ya?
Soal rasa, bebek Kalijo gurihnya pas, nggak terlalu asin. Bebeknya juga empuk. Seporsi bebek potongan biasa dibanderol dengan harga Rp27.000,00, nasi putih Rp5000,00. Kalo mau makan rame-rame dan pengen harga lebih murah, bisa pesen bebek satu ekor seharga Rp110.000,00.
Bagi yang suka pamer wiskul di sosmed, jangan khawatir, Kalijo free wifi, jadi bisa langsung aplot foto-foto dari TKP deh, hehehe… . Oiya, buat emak-emak yang wiskulan bawa bayi, tenang aja, di Kalijo ada ruang lesehannya, jadi bisa nggeletakin bayi di lantai. Emak pun bisa makan dengan khusyuk tanpa gangguan ^^. Btw, nota pembayarannya lucu loh. Biasanya kan ada tulisan gini nih di nota: “Terimakasih, selamat datang kembali” gitu kan? Di Kalijo begini: “Makacih, semangat datang kembali” hahahaha….!
