Nggak sengaja liat tayangan dapur umami edisi kroket udang keju. Sepertinya kok gampang banget. Iseng kepingin nyoba. Tapi isinya bukan udang. Kebetulan yang tersedia di kulkas beberapa butir telur puyuh. So, nggak ada salahnya bikin variasi isi kroket.
Bahan aslinya saya copas dari web dapur umami di sini
BAHAN
- 500 g Kentang
- 100 g Udang kupas rebus
- 2 btg Seledri
- 1 btg Wortel
- 100 g Keju parut
- 3 btr Telur (2 btr untuk pelapis)
- 1 bks Sajiku® Tepung Bumbu (85 g)
- 1 L Minyak
Pelengkap:
- Saus tomat/Saus sambal
Selain mengganti udang dengan telur puyuh, saya juga menghilangkan wortel (persediaan wortel di kulkas lagi kosong, hehe) dan penggunaan Sajiku tepung bumbu. Saya lebih suka pakai tepung plain yang ditaburi merica garam sendiri ^^.
CARA MASAK
- Cincang seledri. Potong-potong kentang. Goreng kentang hingga matang, angkat, dan tiriskan.
- Haluskan kentang goreng, dinginkan. Campur seledri, keju parut, dan telur, aduk rata.
- Bentuk adonan menjadi lonjong, isi dengan telur puyuh rebus, sisihkan. Kocok telur dan siapkan tepung yang sudah dibumbui sedikit garam dan merica.
- Balut adonan dengan telur dan tepung, langsung goreng hingga kuning keemasan, angkat, tiriskan, dan sajikan.
Note: kalau ingin memasak sesuatu, tidak perlu khawatir kalau bahan tambahannya kurang lengkap, misal tidak tersedia 1-2 bahan, tetap lanjutkan memasak. Hasilnya tetap bisa dimakan, kok, hehe…. setuju?
